Michael and Heather at the Baggage Claim by Fountains of Wayne
I'm just back from seeing my favorite band, Fountains of Wayne, playing at the Rams Head Tavern.
Great show. These guys are very unassuming geniuses. Great melodies,
great lyrics. Love 'em if you couldn't tell. They've got so many great
songs that I had a tough time picking one today, but here's one they
didn't play. Just one of the sweetest songs ever!
I'll Go To My Grave Loving You by the Statler Brothers

One of his albums at the time was the Statler Brothers Greatest Hits, which as it turns out was damn good. Especially this song, which is beautiful. Alas, we lost touch over that summer and didn't have any classes together senior year, so we drifted apart. But he was (and probably still is) a great guy.
The Things We Say by the Beagles
