I posted my first song of the day in February. I haven't kept to a
daily schedule but have managed to post 196 different songs of the day.
I try to keep it diverse but have posted multiple songs by the
following artists:
leading the way with 3 songs is Marshall
Crenshaw, although one of the entries was a double selection and the
third was included as part of the "Julie" set that I ran during the
summer.
The following artists had 2 selections each:
Al Green
Billy Bragg and Wilco
Billy Price
Cheap Trick
Fountains of Wayne
Graham Parker
the Graverobbers
Johnny Cash
the New Pornographers
Paul Kelly
Paul Thorn
the Pretenders
Randy Travis (double selection)
the Rhodes Tavern Troubadors
the Smithereens
Van Morrison
I reviewed the list of songs today and you know what? I liked every one of them. Hope that you all enjoyed some of them also.
Be
sure to buy cd's or legal downloads of the music you like and also
support live music by attending a show sometime, even at the local
coffee house.
Reasons I Cheat by Randy Travis
On the Other Hand by Randy Travis
Warning, if you absolutely can't stand country music, stay away. I've been listening to my Christmas music which includes a Randy Travis album. So I've selected my 2 favorite Randy Travis songs, both great and both "cheatin' songs". I love the point/counterpoint of the songs on the classic theme of infidelity. Plus, Randy's got a nice voice even if you don't like "that kind" of music.
